Emerson Rosemount Handheld 475 Hart Field Communicator

HART® Communicator as the operator interface for the transmit-ter. Note that this manual does not include a detailed reference for installing, piping the transmitter or detail operations of the HART® Communicator. Refer the user's manuals of AT9000 Advanced Transmitters (CM2-GTX100-2001) and the HART® Communicator.

Understand and follow the guidelines and precautions below before using the battery or power supply/charger.
• When transporting a Li-Ion battery, follow all applicable regulations.
• Protect the battery and power supply/charger from moisture, and respect operating and storage temperature limits. See Appendix a “Reference data” for more information.
• Do not cover the battery or power supply/charger, subject it to prolonged periods of direct sunlight, or place it upon or next to heat-sensitive materials.Pdf
• Charge the battery with only the Field Communicator power supply/charger. The power supply/charger should not be used with other products. Failure to comply may permanently damage your 475 Field Communicator and will void the IS approval and the warranty.
• Do not open or modify the battery or power supply/charger. There are no user-serviceable components or safety elements inside.
Important note: It is strongly advised to proceed communication with our technical unit for selection of specifications on 475 Field Communicator in terms of communication protocol, FM & EX certification, bluetooth, Easy-upgrade option, etc.

The 475 Field Communicator is user upgradeable via the Internet. Avoid the time delays of sending your communicator to a service center for upgrades. With the Easy Upgrade option, you can download new device drivers, functionality, or licenses directly to your 475 Field Communicator.
